    'moods'

    I was at a friend's place last night and she took out this quirky looking game called 'moods'. Little did I know that for the next two hours we'd be stuck on it. Basically, there's a dice, 'mood' cards, and 'atmosphere' cards. The mood cards tell you which mood i.e. sneaky, zany, silly, relieved, etc. But only 10 of these moods are represented on the mood board. Then the dice is cast, whatever number you come up with corresponds with a mood on the board. Then you pick an atmosphere card. The atmosphere card gives you a situation or a line. For example, "I'm running off with the mailman." And if your number is 4 which happens to be hyper...see how well you can communicate to the other players what mood you're trying to represent. 'I'm running off with the mailman' in a hyper tone of voice. Yep. No actions. Only facial expressions. Pretty hard, ay?

          Youngest of four siblings. Mother being a qualified concert pianist, picked up piano at age 3. Also plays the double bass in orchestra and the electric bass in school jazz band. The only child who will have nothing to do with medicine, engineering, accountancy or computing. Imagine how happy this makes my parents! XD
